About Us
The Integrated Business Enterprise (IBE) was established to help West Cornwall Business Network (WCBN) members win public sector contracts, something they were previously finding very challenging, in part due to their size.
We realised that when small businesses get together, the sum is greater than the parts. As the project developed, we realised the idea of bringing small businesses together to collaborate on contracts could also be applied to private sector opportunities.
The IBE is unique as it is purely designed to help small businesses work together to win and complete large contracts. The IBE has also developed a very proactive approach of finding the opportunities for the IBE to bid for.
We have already launched the project to our first sector, ICT, and our members are finding out about the benefits of collaborating.
Our next phase is to expand the scope of the project by launching to new sectors. When we have a selection of sector IBEs, we will be able to facilitate cross-sector collaborations.
